Jules’ Diner – Baked Tilapia

Richie and I are trying to eat lighter…now that we’re old.  Ahem.  Being a foodie makes this particularly painful as I’m not a big fan of steamed vegetables and 2.2 oz of dry chicken.

But, this little recipe for tilapia turned out quite tasty, so I thought I’d share.

Baked Tilapia

6-8 tilapia filets
Old Bay seasoning
Kosher salt
1 tsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice

Preheat oven to 375º.

Rinse and pat dry the tilapia filets.  Arrange in shallow baking dish and coat with very small amount of olive oil. Season well with Old Bay seasoning and kosher salt.  Sprinkle lemon juice over top.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until fish flakes apart easily with a fork.  Serve with fresh lemon and your favorite sides.  We like asparagus.
