One of the most challenging aspects of being diagnosed with Type II Diabetes has been eating on a schedule. For the last twenty or more years I’ve been a grab-what-you-can-when-you’re-hungry kind of gal, so watching the clock has been quite the adjustment for me. But, there are times when I need something that I can just take with me and these two are a delicious option.

1. The EAS AdvantEDGE Carb Control Shake. Ready to drink (I prefer it chilled), low-carb and high-protein. When I’m running late I grab one of these.

2. The Atkins Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll. Have a sweet tooth?  You’ll swear you’re eating a Baby Ruth bar! This is a great grab-and-go treat.
